The tennis courts at Lakenham Recreation Ground can be reached by taking the number 37B First bus, stopping at the corner of hospital lane towards the rear of the recreation ground. 

Alternatively the 39 and 39A First buses stop at LongJohn Hill where it meets with Cavell Road (a 5minute walk south of the recreation ground) Or there is the 84 Konnectbus that serves Long John Hill /Cavell Road.

37B First bus run every 25 minutes on weekdays until 18:19 and every 30 minutes on Saturdays until 17:58.

On Sundays there are 3 services running at 11:15, 13:45 and 16:30.

39 and 39A First buses run every 20 minutes on weekdays until 20:40 and every 30 minutes on Saturdays until 2040. 39 and 39A do not run on Sundays / Public holidays.

84 Konnectbus runs from Castle Meadow weekdays and Saturdays at 11:00, 12:30, 16:15 and 17:45.

Cycle stands are present at the tennis courts and a neighbourhood cycling route known as the Lakenham yellow route passes nearby to the rear of the courts.  The yellow route links Norwich Airport Aviation Academy to the Lakenham Technical College. Click here to view the Norwich Cycle Map.

There is limited car parking space at the recreation ground.

Lakenham Recreation ground is within 1.5mile walking distance from the city centre (approximately an 18 minute walk).
